No way! How can this compact 8" PA speaker put out enough punch to fill a large room? Impossible. Or is it? Back up, now. QSC packed a 1,000-watt powerplant into this little guy - 1,000-watt Class D power amp, so it's still lightweight enough to put in your car with ease. But how does it sound? It sounds like a million bucks. Really. We caught the K8 in action in a large room, and you've never seen so many jaws drop at the same time. It sound so good, you'll have trouble relating the little speaker your eyes see with the massive sound coming into your ears. The K8 is the real deal!

Review : Worth the Price - Best in Class
I used my new K8's for the first time last night with my quartet and was blown away by how good they sound. Full and clear even when cranked up. I have never been so happy with the sound of my digital piano (w/left hand bass sounds) and my voice on a gig. My saxophonist who never says anything about the sound of the PA said, "Man, those new speakers sound great!" In my constant search for an easily portable and compact PA system I have owned quite a few "lightweight" two-way systems including EV, Ramsa, Yamaha, Peavey and FBT (still own and love my 8ba's), and I've tried many I didn't buy. The K8's are hands-down the best sounding speakers I have ever owned. Putting aside how ridiculously loud you can get them without breaking up, at my usual gig volume of low to medium, they just sound great!

I've read on a few forums that some folks think the K-series speakers are overpriced. In my opinion they are worth every penny and more. I rarely feel my money has been so well spent...
